"This image shows nanoparticles that encapsulate two distinctly labeled small interfering RNA molecules (red and green). The cell internalizes the nanoparticles utilizing endocytic trafficking. The co-localization indicates that the nanomaterial may be still intact and had has yet to release the siRNA (s) into the cellular milieu."
