"Alkyladenine DNA glycosylase (AAG) is a DNA repair protein responsible for the removal of harmful lesion bases brought about by various carcinogens and oxidative stress. By observing this protein in complex with DNA on the atomic level, we can better understand its mechanism of action and thus, better understand its role in DNA repair.
