"This image shows the ventral furrow, an event in Drosophila melanogaster embryo development where precursor mesoderm cells constrict apically and invaginate into the embryo. I am looking at myosin localization in the ventral furrow in a wild-type fly. The image starts to tell the story of the role of myosin regulation in ventral furrow formation and in transmitting mechanical signals."
