This is staining of COVID-19 (SARS CoV-2 virus) in situ hybridization directly infecting a human colon crypt. This is evidence we used to publish our recent findings that COVID-19 can in fact directly infect the cells in our gut leading to gut symptoms as well as a significant increase in mortality. The red dots are the viral mRNA.
