Using a combination of specialized media components and culture in convective flow, we’ve generated spheroids out of human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). These spheroids remain pluripotent and can be differentiated into specialized cell types or functional organoids making this a flexible and robust system for biological studies.

This image demonstrates that we’ve achieved ten-time expansion of cell count in three days without introducing non-physiological mechanical forces through contact with a cell culture dish.
